Abstract

Rigsfællesskabet er på den ene side et begreb, der juridisk camouflerer, at Danmark er en enhedsstat. På den anden side har begrebet muliggjort politiske og administrative praksisser, som gør 'enheden' væsentligt mere kompleks. Kombinationen af enhed og kompleksitet er basis for de faktiske institutioner, Danmark opretholder i Grønland med en række helt konkrete funktioner i forhold til befolkning og territorium.
