Farmers in the central regions are witnessing widespread mechanisation and novel technical solutions in large-scale rice producing areas in the Mekong Delta. Despite gains in Central provinces, where small combine harvesters have become the norm over the last 10 years, smallholder farmers still feel they are lagging behind.
