    Abstract

This chapter presents personal reflections on the extent to which development cooperations efforts are true to the principles they espouse. Questions are raised regarding whether the ways that disability in disasters is left to 'somebody else' may exemplify the dangers that the new catchword of resilience actually may lead to an even greater bias towards those who are most resilient already.
