Abstract

In this brief, we discuss the long-term implications and effects of the pandemic on Domestic Resource Mobilisation (DRM) in sub-Saharan African (SSA). We do not address the immediate short-term consequences of the pandemic on DRM as there is much attention on this issue already. The brief builds on the report Implications of the COVID-19 pandemic for revenue generation in poor African countries.
