Abstract
Nature-based Solutions (NbS) to climate- and development-related challenges are gaining increasing attention in development cooperation, and are emphasized in Denmark’s development strategy.
While NbS offers many promises, it is critically important that it pays attention to the rights of indigenous peoples and communities in the areas where it is implemented. This policy brief provides recommendations for how Denmark can help ensure that this is done.
