Abstract

As the European Union designs and deploys its anti-coercion instrument to hamper initiatives by other big powers to limit its trade, Luke Patey, Senior Researcher at the Danish Institute for International Studies, walks us through the lessons the Union can take from the way other countries tackled coercion, to render this instrument effective for the future.
