    Abstract

With Theresa May’s decision to step down as PM of the Conservative Party, it’s almost certain that a Brexiteer MP – most likely Boris Johnson – will replace her. But what is their international vision for a post-Brexit UK? Is it an opportunity to revive Britain’s faded colonial past, and forge an alliance of white, English-speaking countries: A CANZUK union? Canadian researcher Srdjan Vucetic argues that it’s a completely unrealistic political vision, that may nevertheless become official policy.
