Climate change adaptation and decentralization politics: The case of local governments in rural Zambia

Research output: Contribution to Book, Anthology, ReportBook ChapterResearchpeer-review

    Abstract

So far, much of the emphasis on the role of local governments in climate change has evolved around urban local governments, while there has been much less attention to rural local governments, especially in the context of developing countries. Drawing on research from Zambia, this chapter contributes to our understanding of the real-world roles and challenges of rural local governments in climate change adaptation.
