Stefano Guzzini’s principle areas of research has been in international theory, security studies (ontological security), approaches to foreign policy analysis (mainly applied to France, Germany and Italy), as well as with the conceptual analysis and theories of power.
Current research
More recently, Stefano Guzzini has worked on interpretivist methodologies (process tracing and notions of non-efficient causality) and critical geopolitics as applied to Europe.
