Current research

Lars Vissing examines the Machiavelli official correspondence, targeting the state concept and the discursive categories in the chancellery language of the early XVIth century. The background and broader perspective of this line of research remains the History of government routine: information and verbatim versus commentary, analysis and performative discourse.
