John Nielsen has 25 years of experience in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and has been ambassador to Vietnam, Laos, Spain and most recently Myanmar.
He especially focusses on recent developments in Myanmar, the development and role of ASEAN in Southeast Asia, the role and interest of China in Southeast Asia, with a focus on the Belt and Road Initiative in Myanmar and South China Sea in Vietnam.
