Greenland elects new government as Trump coaxes, threatens

Speaking to The Washington Post, Ulrik Pram Gad, a senior researcher at the Danish Institute for International Studies in Copenhagen, called Greenland “the most dynamic piece in the new Arctic jigsaw puzzle,” now trying to find its best way forward amid a great power struggle.
In a blog post, he wrote that “any deal between Donald Trump and Greenland would either result in Greenlanders receiving less than they get from Denmark or the U.S. paying more for what it already has.”
