Description
In this talk I call attention to how vulnerability is framed in our times in order to highlight some of the critical concerns we should have, as well as to highlight some of the productive work that the concept can do. I argue that although the concept of vulnerability can help articulate and respond to harms, it is not sufficient. It is essential as well to develop a robust concept of the victim.
