Description
Nature-based Solutions (NbS) to climate- and devel-opment related challenges have recently gained attention in development coopera-tion. Approaches that fall under the NbS um-brella include Ecosystem-based Adaptation (EbA). The presentation will provide an over-view of selected lessons learnt and experi-ences from EbA in the context of develop-ment cooperation, with a particular empha-sis on the opportunities, risks and challenges regarding poverty alleviation, rights and the role of civil society.
