    This seminar discusses the political economies of humanitarianism from practical, political and conceptual perspectives. Humanitarian intervention in international politics takes many forms, ranging from medical assistance to victims of sexual violence in conflict, migration management of displaced populations, to the political administration of dead bodies. How do practices of care within this system contribute to the nurturing of some bodies and the misuse or displacement of others?
