    Description

    The aim of this workshop is to engage practitioners and experts on issues related to financing in fragile or transition countries to bring their knowledge and experience to bear on the current situation. With peacebuilding recognized as a critical function of the UN, financial resources allocated to peacebuilding need to be increased and made more predictable. This workshop provides an opportunity to generate creative suggestions and proposed strategies for the UN system and UN member states to move in the direction of achieving sufficient resources to support coherent efforts to sustain peace.
