In order to ensure external input to the development and implementation of projects in the MENA region, DIHR is establishing an external reference group consisting of stakeholders with a knowledge of and interest in the region. Because of your profile and expertise, we would be honoured if you would consider participating in this group, which will meet twice a year.Aim
The focus of the reference group meetings will be to provide a venue for:
• Expert discussions on relevant MENA issues and developments.
• Programmatic consultation and coordination.
• Contextual analysis and information sharing.
• Quality assurance of DIHR activities.
• Enhancing the transparency of DIHR activities.
• Identification of programme opportunities and potential partner synergies.
Format
The external reference group will consist of Denmark-based members with a relevant knowledge of and experience from the MENA region. The reference group members represent different stakeholders – NGOs, commercial entities, state institutions, universities, international organizations, media, and think tanks. In total, the reference group will consist of approximately six to nine members.
