Abstract
The protests and uprisings known as ”the Arab Spring”, which transformed power configuration in the Arab World in 2011, provioked few changes in Algeria’s domestic and foreign policy. In this blog piece published by London School of Economic’s Middle East Department, Boserup argues that the rapid transformations of the domestic order in neighbouring Arab countries would, however, prompt experts, scholars and policy makers to raise a series of overdue questions about the very nature of governance, society foreign and security policy in Algeria.
